I had just found a book on-line that I've only seen on sale for $100 and up for a mere $28!!! But I couldn't log in to my account! It wouldn''t let me type in my password! By the time I restarted my browser, some rat bastard had already bought it!!!!!!!

The book was The Restorer's Handbook of Easel Painting, by the way. Grumble.

I found that pic on a Google image search for Shatner, I think it was from one of those Mardi Gras groups in New Orleans...yeah it was the Krew of Bacchus http://www.kreweofbacchus.org/ . I was trying to find a shot of him yelling, but this one was too cool to pass up. Looks like they get a celebrity every year to party, err, parade with them. Interestingly, this year's celeb is John Lovitz. Shatner was it in 1987. Check out the History page on their site! Jackie Gleason does not look pleased to be wearing a gold lame jumper and a ruff.

And, yeah, my references are many and varied. Glad you appreciate them!
