After seeing this Cthulhoid case mod (courtesy of gamera_spinning), I am moved to design my own case mod.

How about a model sailing ship, like a 44-gun full-rigged 36-sail frigate. The Constitution comes to mind. Hard drive activity might show through the cannons and make it look like it was firing.

Personally, I've always dug the retro look, like from the Terry Gilliam movie, Brazil. It's hard to find a nice Underwood typewriter though.

Or Perhaps a Captain Teutonic or SCA-themed case mod?

Or maybe a Stargate case mod. That might be nifty. The cutouts on the side of the case corresponding to the Gate activating. Man, I'm a hopeless geek.

There are some case mod ideas here.
