I've noticed that I rarely post any entries on Wednesdays. I wonder why that is.

That’s interesting;

I have noticed that many people do not seem to write a lot of email on Thursday. This is more a feeling then something I could qualify but it seems to follow on a number of public lists and individual postings sent to me alone.

I've actually gotten more e-mail today (to the chagrin of our compliance officer) by noon, than on most entire days. But then again, being the controlling figure in dozens of socio-political situations calls for constant lines of communication.
