Girls in my class used to play it all the time. As a guy I didn't really play as much, but I would be lying if I said I never did.

I remember 'slam' books, and that thing made out of folded paper that you picked various numbers until you got your fortune, written on one of the folds. I could never figure out how to make them...

Those things were called "cootie catchers" where I grew up, at least by the boys. Don't know what the girls called them.
