Grrr
Grumpy

Would someone mind telling me why a package shipped via UPS "Three-Day Select" shows an estimated arrival time of five business days after the shipping date?

Also, on an unrelated note, eBay vendors who charge $20 to mail an item which cost a grand total of $8.10 in postage — in a box provided by the USPS at no charge — should die like pigs in Hell.

In defense of those eBay vendors, I'm gotten screwed by eBay's "estimated postage" system on more than one occasion, and now I just do a flat rate on anything I sell, which is generally the cost of shipping the item to, say, California. If it can fit in a flat rate box, though, that's a different story, of course.
He stated up front in his auction that he would be shipping USPS Priority Mail. Shipping weight on the item was four pounds (and he sells a lot of these particular items, judging from his auction history, so he should know that), and according to the USPS postage calculator, even shipping from Point Hope, Alaska to Key West, Florida would have cost only $10.90.

I don't mind if someone overestimates by a couple of dollars. But more than half of his "shipping costs" were pure profit to him.
